Why We Started El Rachum
El Rachum Ministry was founded with a simple but powerful belief: no child should learn on an empty stomach. In Central Uganda, many government schools cannot provide food for their students, leading to high absenteeism and poor performance.
We started by feeding one school. Today, we operate a grain mill (FOU) to produce posho locally, partner with over 11 schools, and have expanded into clean water, sanitation, and solar projects. We are committed to walking alongside these communities for the long haul.
